This spring, while concert halls were still closed and stages still dark, WQXR opened up the archives to recreate concert experiences for your at-home enjoyment.
Now, with NYC reopening and the sweet return of live concerts, we’re thrilled to wrap this season of New York in Concert with a live broadcast from Lincoln Center’s Damrosch Park. On Saturday, July 10, at 7:30PM, The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, against the dramatic backdrop of some torrential summer rain, performed works by Haydn and Mendelssohn, plus Robert Schumann’s stunning piano quartet.
John Schaefer and Elliott Forrest hosted the live broadcast.
